Supercharger Boost is controlled by a turbo style wastegate

 

Supercharger Boost Control....

What we tried (and it works well), is fitting a turbo external wastegate after the intercooler on the pipe to the throttle body. You then use the boost control feature on the ECU, and boost is dumped. Its crude from the purest point of view, but works fine as the SC does not have the flow capacity to overcome the waste pressure being lost. We can adjust the boost cap over about a 14psi range ok. It has no effect until you get to the set pressure. We use this to give the Traction Control 1/2 a chance of controlling wheelspin in the lower gears, as  its much easier to program TC if your open loop power is closer to the grip available.
